Rezonate started with a conversation between two old friends—Cam Blackwood, one of the UK’s leading music producers, and Tom Tyler, a seasoned finance and investment professional.
Cam, having produced chart-topping records for artists like George Ezra and London Grammar, was looking to sell a portion of his producer royalties. But the market wasn’t built for producers—buyers focused on artist and songwriter rights, while producer royalties were overlooked, fragmented, and undervalued.
Recognizing the opportunity, Tom and Cam set out to change the landscape. They saw a path to not only help producers like Cam unlock the value of their life’s work but also to create a scalable, high-growth asset class for investors.
